Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a provider-operated search tool is sent to that provider for processing and results. This resource does not retain or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If an email is sent to us, the message is retained as needed to respond. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is legally required.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers may receive routine technical information about the visit:
- The device’s IP address
- Browser and version details
- Device type and operating-system information
- Pages viewed and visit duration
- Referring source, when one is supplied
- Page-view time records
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device that help measure aggregated use, such as commonly visited pages and exits. Browser controls can block cookies, although some functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating and improving page performance
- Passing a query to the selected search provider
- Assessing which reference material is used
- Diagnosing technical problems
- Delivering advertising that may be relevant
No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case files. It provides general routing information for Red Lake County District Court court administration and Minnesota Court Records Online. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside providers operate the search boxes. Their own policies control submitted queries, retention, and sharing practices. Review the provider’s policy before using its tool.
Links to Other Websites
Links to Red Lake County court resources, Minnesota Judicial Branch services, and outside providers open sites that apply their own policies. Review those policies before supplying personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own cross-site activity systems for advertising. Those systems are operated by the providers.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information can be received by:
- Search providers that process a submitted query
- Analytics services used to measure performance
- Advertising networks serving the pages
- Government bodies or law enforcement when a valid legal process requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected information. No internet-connected service can promise complete security or rule out every breach.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If a minor’s information was submitted, contact us so it can be addressed.
Your Data Rights
Applicable law can provide rights over personal information. Court records follow a separate Minnesota rule structure: Minnesota Rule of Public Access to Records of the Judicial Branch 8 governs inspection, copying, and remote access, and Minnesota Statutes section 13.90 confirms that court access is governed by judicial rules rather than the ordinary Chapter 13 route. You may:
- Ask what information is retained about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion where applicable
- Choose available controls for certain processing
